Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp cumin

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

Optional: 1 tbsp tomato paste or taco sauce (for extra flavor)

For the Bowl

1 large avocado, sliced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cooked corn kernels

2 cups mixed greens or romaine lettuce

1 small lime, halved

2–3 fresh jalapeño slices (optional)

2 tbsp crumbled feta or cotija cheese

A few tortilla chips (optional, for crunch)

Directions

  • Sauté garlic in olive oil, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Season with chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper; add tomato paste if using.
  • Fill a bowl with mixed greens or romaine.
  • Add cooked beef, avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, and corn.
  • Top with feta/cotija, jalapeño, tortilla chips, and a squeeze of lime.
